Beatrice and her vi@gr@
I noticed today that a nice operator named Beatrice is following me on Twitter.
Does Beatrice have something for Frenchies?
No, it appears what turns her on are “Jerome” guys!
How interesting… I forgot to mention that there is a Facebook group also where people share their fantastic stories thanks to the blue pill. (It’s blue right?)
How sad is this…
Twitter has opened up huge avenues for scam artists and other disputable products. What is interesting to note also is how you can use the information from the users’ profiles to perform targeted marketing (there must be a name for that… segment your population or something). In this case, I’m not so sure why the “Jerome” thing other than it is obviously a male first name, or does that imply other things?

When keywords don’t make sense…
Anything is good to make money, even nonsense.
Take for example this query on a torrent site for “Testing how dumb an ad banner can be”.
Not a problem, there are apparently files all made up for me:
Yes, even a rar archive…
All I gotta do is sign up… Who are you fooling?

Twitter followers quick schemes update
Following on my previous post, as well as mentioned on other security blogs (Sophos), I found some new elements about the quick schemes to get more followers on Twitter.
In the past couple of days, the automatic posting keeps on going, promoting those “sites”:
The latest site morefollowers.info has an interesting ad:
If giving your credentials on the web page was not enough, you can download a program now to get even more benefits:
The app looks fairly straight, once again you need to provide private information.
And it comes at a price, of course:
This domain, tweetadder.com is very conveniently registered by Domains by Proxy, Inc.
Also, on that same IP (70.85.10.42) you will find other similar sites, such as Tube Thumper (a YouTube version of increasing the number of views for your videos).
Researchers interested in analyzing the software for malware can get it from our FTP (under the blog folder). Note that both Mac and Windows versions are available.
