Big ‘Patch Tuesday’ out
Microsoft has released fixes for no less than 31 flaws in its software while Adobe also issued an update for 13 vulnerabilities.
Interesting to note was the IE8 zero-day exploit patch. The flaw was revealed at the CanSecWest conference.
While it is a good thing to see Microsoft and Adobe address that many issues, it gives a lot to think about how weak the programs we use truly are.
If you haven’t done security updates in a while, it is a good idea to do so now.
If for some reason Automatic Updates have been turned off, here is an article from Microsoft on how to configure them properly.
