Bill C-27
May 8th, 2009
Canadians are working on an anti-malware law. Bill C-27 would apply to software installed without user consent in the course of a commercial activity. So far, no criminal penalties (only fines) and the scope would not include espionage, or pure intent of causing harm. It is still a good attempt at holding (Canadian) malicious software writers accountable.
