Paretologic Anti-Virus Plus update

Last Thursday we released an upgrade to our AntiVirus/AntiSpyware application, Paretologic’s Antivirus Plus.

The new version includes some cool additions to make this application extremely user-friendly as well as a smaller installer (only 11 Mo) to download. These changes make it an ever faster and less resource intensive program.
From our own benchmarking tests with slow and infected PCs, we can confirm that having a small download is critical in getting started on the road to recovery.

PLAV (as we call it in our research department), can remove traditional viruses as well as other malware threats. It includes a real time blocking component to prevent infections from happening in the first place and also a malicious URL blocker.

Our research team creates new detection signatures every day and is constantly looking to improve the program by keeping a close eye on new infection methods and detection evasion.
